Dubai Holidays

Dubai is one of the seven United Arab Emirates situated between Asia and Europe. A cosmopolitan city with ultra-modern office blocks and hotels, it still retains its historic culture with many ancient houses and bustling souks. It is one of the most popular holiday destinations in the world, and Dubai holidays are a great way to be introduced to the unique nature of this hot holiday spot.

Very aware of the oncoming impact on its economy of its dwindling oil stocks, Dubai has diverted its energies into other economic sectors including manufacturing and services, of which tourism is a very important and large part. Business developers in the emirate have certainly stopped at nothing to ensure that visitors have the most amazing experience when they book their holidays in Dubai.

There is a whole range of different quality hotels at which to stay, from the mid-priced to some of the most opulent hotels on the planet with world-class ratings. You can choose to stay in one of the districts along the ten kilometer creek or pick a hotel slightly out of the city if you want a more desert based experience.

One of the main reasons that many visitors flock to Dubai is its great reputation for diverse shopping possibilities. You can enjoy tax-free shopping on a range of luxury goods or, if you want a more traditional souvenir, you can head to one of the local markets to buy attractive goods made from wood or leather, exotic incense and Arabian perfume.

Being a very modern city there is a diverse range of eating places in Dubai, but if you want alcohol with your meal then the best bet would be to book a table at your hotel. Alcohol is only available in hotels and clubs.
